The SofaBaton does work a bit differently, but you can make it work like the Harmony. You can both reassign buttons or assign a macro (sequence of buttons from various remotes) to a button. Here are two ways I could see Harmony users set up the remote: 1) Set up all you devices, and then you can rename the devices. For example, rename your Roku Stick to "Watch TV" and your sound system to "Listen to Music". The remote has two power buttons (one called "TV") so you can add/reassign these buttons to trigger a Macro to turn on the various devices required to start. Example of remote menu: - Watch TV >>> Streaming Device (Roku, Firestick, Chromecast) - Listen to Music >>> Sound System - TCL TV >>> Need to have device, but not renamed to specific activity 2) You can also add copies of your devices with the original button configurations, in case your "activiy" has blocked off a few buttons you wish to conserve. Example of remote menu: - Watch TV >>> Streaming Device, with macros to turn on TV, sound system - Listen to Music >>> Sound System, with macros to turn on device and switch input to AUX - Pioneer HTP-076 >>> Same Sound System, without macros or reassigned keys - TCL TV >>> Need to have device, but not renamed for activity I just switched over from a Harmony Remote and my experience is that so far it is a perfect swap/upgrade from the Harmony. Upgrade for me because I didn't have the hub, so no Bluetooth support for my nVidia Shield.
