Hello Sofabaton, I would suggest that despite you are busy in solving many problems of X1, you should prioritize in fixing the problem of X1 cannot learn from original remote control, this can let people using this function in case they cannot find the suitable code for their device. I think learning from original remote control is a basic function that every universal remote control can handle, but X1 just cannot. Thank you.

This problem only happened when you off the activities and re-enter the activities, it goes to the last input that you watched, but once you correct it to the exact input then it works fine between activity to activity as long as you don't off the activities, once you off and re-enter the activities again, problem will happen again.
