Hi, I even put the old remote into the microwave which blocks 2.4ghz signals (not even find remote works when I do that). I still can’t get the new remote to update. The process gets past the connect button and then nothing happens for nearly a minute, then I still get the error 1001.

I can’t get it to update the new remote firmware, I get 1001 errors even after turning of my 5ghz wifi.

I mean the “normal keys” on the screen can’t be re-ordered.

Agreed, this a a massive PITA and a very poor UX for customers! Being on the same local network should be the only requirement - needing to be on the same wifi frequency is just poor design.
