Same for me as well. Hub v12 remote V9

For the PS4 it should work as Bluetooth device, more info here: http://bbs.sofabaton.com/post/334 For the other devices, we need the model numbers to make sure for your exact devices. From my experience with the remote for the TV i am almost sure all keys will work but for the AV receivers it can be a bit more complicated.

After one of the latest updates, I went over each button and used the add/repair feature. It took some time to find the correct codes from the list, but in the end all buttons work fine. And i can change to any device.

so, you say that with third party extender it is fine. Ok, will try that.

Yea, homeassistant integrations is very important thing. But to be honest, this device and the software have way more issues that what you describe, so i preferer to wait until all features that are currently implemented are fixed and made to work correctly, before them spending time on homeassistant.

I think this issue with holding is not directly related to learning function. I have Sony STR DN1080 receiver, and the app found the codes with the search function. Same exact problem as described. Power button works fine, all else have to be long pressed, or more specifically double pressed (pressing the button twice fast, dose the trick)

@SofaBaton, i understand that by supporting thousands of different devices, you are not able to personally verify most of the codes, but you should at least give the community the ability share what they have already found that works. That way we will sort out what is working what is not, by our selves (not the best solution, but at least way better than each person having to go over the same problems)

I had the same issue. The worst part for me was, that i was not able to manually copy the codes form the original remote. It looked like the codes are copied correctly, but none of them worked. In the end i wend and manually reassigned each button from the items in the code base. It took me more than 45 minutes, and not all buttons are working now, but at lease i can control the main functions. Unfortunately the buttons for changing the inputs did not work :(

I had the same problem, so i just removed all notifications form the app. (Long press on the notification, and then there was option to disable all notifications form the app) Regardless of my workaround, i think the app developers should remove this pointless item
