I believe that I am on the latest version for the hub, remote and app, can you confirm where I can find the exact numbers, I couldn't see it in the app apart from the app version which is 3.2.4? From memory of the update I think the hub and remote are 8 and 9 (or 9 and 8). FYI, when I select "Firmware update for X1 remote" from the app, it says that there is no update.

I have resync'd / rebooted several times (syncing from the remote and the app) but still no joy. It sounding like an intermittent bug but a bug none the less. With your remote now working ytsejam, what happens if you add a command or sync again, does long press stop working? (appreciate you may not want to change anything as its working). Hopefully the Sofabaton team have replicated this and are working on a fix, it would be good to get some feedback from them.

Thanks for the suggestion ytsejam, unfortunately it didn't work for me. I also tried rebooting the hub and restarting the remote after syncing but long press commands are still not working.

I had been wondering why I couldn't get Alexa to work with my X1 and now I know. I have multiple email addresses for different companies etc and my Amazon email is not the same as my Sofabaton one and so the long and the short of it is that there appears to be no way that I will be able to use Alexa. Very disappointing.

It looks like the longer time worked. Perhaps it didn't earlier as I was repeatedly turning the TV off and on to test durations. I now need to experiment with the duration to find the best value. Thanks

Thanks, as mentioned in my original post, I had tried adding a delay command in the macro settings on/off. Perhaps I need more than 20 seconds and so will try a longer time when I get a moment. I assume that if theses setting show the power on command plus a delay after then this should be sufficient.

Thanks, I understand how to create activities and have half a dozen set up, I was simply commenting that when I changed TV, I could not remove the old tv and add the new tv to an existing activity (as I could with my old Logitech Harmony remote), instead I had to recreate each activity along with the macros I'd set up which incidentally only used functions from the other devices, not the tv. It was a time consuming exercise.

Thanks, I've got the codebase now. A pity that you can't swap one device in for another in an activity though as I've just had to recreate my activities for the new TV.
