A good idea, I'd like to see this too.

As mentioned, I do not think that this is device specific as long press worked perfectly with all devices (both Bluetooth and IR) before the last update and now it does not work with any of them. I have recreated commands (which didn't fix anything) and tested the long press commands on a short press (they work). But, as requested here are the devices: LG 55NANO756 TV, Amazon 4K FireTV, Microsoft XBox One S, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Humax HDR-2000T 1TB

I should have concluded by saying that if I have no long press functions then I have to resort to having a lot more menu functions (normal/macro) which means it takes longer to perform simple functions (button press-scroll-button press instead of a single long press)

Thanks for the suggestion, my problem though is that its not just the volume keys (which I only have long presses on my XBox activity to knock the volume down to zero when using headphones since mute leave the mute icon onscreen) that I have long presses on. Since there is no info and no guide key for example I use long presses on the home and menu keys. I also have forward programmed as fast forward/skip, similarly for back.

Sorry, could you explain which model you are referring to? Do you mean the TV? This issue affects all my devices and, it seems all devices of other users too, not just my/their TVs. I have tested the same function when assigned to a single press and it works, only when assigned to a long press does it not work. This is the case for all commands on all devices. Prior to the latest release, it worked without any issues.

I don't have any wifi devices either and have tried these steps without any luck. @Sofabaton, please comment on when a fix will be available (for all) and any temporary fixes we should try (for people without wifi devices).

Can you please clarify the details of the temporary fix? None of the suggestions which have worked for others have worked for me. I do not have any wifi devices configured, all my devices are either IR or Bluetooth.

Interesting tests, I have Hue lights but have yet to set them up, I do have a few devices and activities without long press buttons, I've just tested switching between them but nothing has changed. Perhaps something specific in the Hue implementation has broken long presses.
