  • Feature Request... 3 month ago

I would love to see this feature, I've just spent ages manually copying my X1 config to my new X1s. The fact that its stored on the hub should not matter as the app reads/writes this data and so should be able to save it to a config file that can be uploaded to another hub.

  • Unable to Enable Alexa Sofabaton Skill 1 year ago

Unfortunately it was not made clear when initially setting up the device that the same addresses should be used for both and without the ability to backup/restore settings a huge amount of manual effort would be required to work around this limitation.

Thanks for your reply, it is surprising that the Sofabaton team have not gotten around to fixing the 'same email ' limitation. Your second point in your post "Delete the app from the phone and remove all the data After that, I set the X1 back up as if it was a brand new one." unfortunately puts me off following the same approach as you since I have quite a few devices and a lot of macros/custom buttons defined. Sadly Sofabaton also don't offer a backup and restore option. @Sofabaton, would you like to comment, is a fix for the 'same email' limitation or the ability to create config backups planned?

  • Multiple OK keys in favorites - problem 1 year ago

The best solution that I've found is to set these up as macro keys instead of normal keys under favourites. A macro can contain a single command and doesn't need to be a sequence of commands but can be given any name that you want.

  • Option to change order of "Keys favorites" 1 year ago

+1 This was requested some time ago, hopefully the more people that ask for it, the more likely it is to be implemented - https://bbs.sofabaton.com/post/378

  • Update question 1 year ago

3.2.6 dropped for me this morning (13th), sadly a couple of the features I'd previously raised are not in it. 1) re-adding the ability to use - and , in macro names and 2) the ability to reorder macros

  • Update question 1 year ago

Same here, the latest version is 3.2.4, which I have installed, I think it can take a while for a new app release to reach all regions/device models but this is not good when the hub has already been updated.

  • X1 - Amazon Echo / Alexa Support 1 year ago

Same for me but I know the reason. Your Sofabaton account and your Amazon account need to use the same email address, mine don't as I have my own domain name and use different email addresses for different services. It would have been helpful to know before registering my Sofabaton account and I don't see any reason why there is this restriction.

  • Long Press No Longer Working 1 year ago

I have installed the new firmware and, so far, it seems to all be working - thanks for addressing this issue.

  • Macro Key Names 1 year ago

Thanks for your reply. The 2 characters I mentioned (comma and dash) are the key ones for me and they do show up correctly in the remote. I have macros defined for one of my devices for old SMS style input where the macros toggle through letters of the alphabet and are named "A,B,C", "D,E,F", "G,H,I", etc, these are still present from my current config but I know that if I change anything I will lose them. The other Macros I have are where I prefixed the macro with the device name, eg: "TV - HDMI 1" or "HDMI - DVR" (this second one refers to an HDMI switch). At present I cannot think of any other characters that I would use and so would be grateful if you could allow these. I do think that they would be useful for macros where a list of elements is needed in the name.
