I did it but still no input-selection. The codebase isn't the problem because the input-command "InputTv/Radio" still exists. But the App doesn't recognize that command in the correct way to show input-selection.

What six-dot icon are you talking about? On the Favorite-screen there isn't any. I would add an screenshot if someone tells me how to do that in an answer like this.

@mjasinsk: Logitech makes a difference beween PowerToggle and PowerON & PowerOFF (they call it SmartState). If an device only uses PowerToggle Logtech "knows and remebers" that and the PowerToggle isn't send again if that device is already running. Uses the device PowerON & PowerOFF sending those commands again makes no sense.

@trosenda: Not even the EPG doesn't have an hardkey. Also "Stop" and "Record" (i.a. used by DVR) havent hardkeys. For me an absolut NoGo.

Coming from an Harmony I agree with trosenda. Starting an activity MUST bring up the favorites immediately. To go back to the activity-selection you have the back-button top right.

Ok I'll try: Inside an activity you create favorites and select "Macro" as type of favorite. After you added an command and saved it you dont's see it inside the App (there are no favorites at all) but you see them an the remote.

@SofaBaton: TechniSat DIGIT ISIO STC only has a PowerToggle which may cause the problem.

  • Virtual Device (Activity without startup/shutdown sequence) 1 year ago

Hi, did you take a look at devices power settings? There you can define if or if not device is switched on by an activity.

Add brand name and device-model. Than click on Via Manual learning mode. Now you can learn all commands from the original remote into your new model.
