You need to reassign the source function for each device to another key and then use the reassigned key in your macro. Works for me.

Programming is a bit of a challenge. I think once the learning feature is working it will become a lot easier for people. Once it is programmed it works well.

In the quick search put Marantz for brand name and then click Unable to get exact model. Tap search. A list of 28 options will come up. Start with option one and push buttons and watch your receiver and see how it responds. If only a few commands respond then move to the 2nd option .... and the 3rd ...and the 4th...etc. Once you find one that works the best than tap use this one. You should be able to go bck through the source configuration steps and setup your source list for the receiver.

There are 28 codesets for Marantz receivers.

Yes....I see what you are saying. The only thing you can do is try another Marantz AVR codeset and see if it works and has the inputs you need. Do you know how to search for other code sets?

Did you import the code set for the Marantz receiver you own? if so, then tap on Marantz from the device list. Not the add. Next> In the top right hand corner tap edit> Tap on Source configuration Here is where you tell the X1 how your Marantz switches sources. Your particular remote has specific buttons on the remote to switch sources, right? Choose the first one in that list and tap next. Then tap the plus sign on this screen. Do you see a list of commands there? Let me know if there is a list of commands there. If so, you can continue. If not, then you either have not loaded a codeset or there is a glitch with the program. Let me know.

You need to setup a list of sources for the Marantz in the Source switching mode portion of the app. In the device section of the app. Tap Marantz>Tap Edit>Tap Source configuration>Tap Switch Sources with one click>Tap the plus>choose the sources from the list - you can trigger(make sure the Marantz is on) each command to make sure you are getting the right inputs>Once you have listed all the inputs you will need for your particular setup >Tap determine>tap complete Once you do that you create an activity which allows you to pick the devices and sources that make up that particular activity....ie Watch TV or Stream or Listen to Radio ..etc You will have to do that same thing for your TV. If all your devices run through your receiver than you only have to create a source list for your tv with only the one input (normally HDMI 1).
