I also have the same problem from time to time. Please fix that!

Since the lastest updates, the X1 works pretty well for me (There's still work left to be done). The X1 is simplier to use than my old Harmony remote. With the included hub, it is no longer necessary to point the remote control at the devices. Very cool! And configuration works better and faster with Sofabaton app than the Harmony desktop app. But, I'm a little worried about the reliability of the X1's buttons over time. They are noisy when clicked and the circular button is already starting to make creaking sound?! Another downside of the X1 is the battery life. Doesn't last as long as it was supposed to. And there is no way to change the battery ourselves, not very convenient.

I also have this exact strange creaking sound when I press the down key (circular button). What can I do to get rid of that? Thanks!

Are you trying via Bluetooth or IR? Because the VIP5662W supports both. I have been able to manage mine using the IR commands database. Just don't forget to remove the batteries from your original Bell remote to disable the bluetooth pairing between the VIP5662W and the original remote...it could help! Good Luck!

It seems that Sofabaton codes for Arris devices are not handled correctly by the hub. Fortunately, I was able to manage my new VIP5662W. I installed the codes and it works pretty well for this particular device. But for my old VIP2262, I couldn't get it to work properly... very strange!

Yes, it could be nice! Also, being able to unassign buttons on the remote view.

I finally managed to learn the code from my old Harmony 650 remote on which I had downloaded the codes for the VIP5662W. Fortunately, I still have my good old Logitech Harmony to help me out! :)
