Can you explain please how you did that. Realise that I have a U1 and an NVidia Shield TV (not Pro) so my situation may be different. When I try to remap buttons with buttonmapper, it only shows buttons that exist on my remote, and there are none of the coloured buttons on their, so I cannot remap them.

That sounds crafty I will investigate. I do not need the refreshrate apps main function, but will look to see how it handles buttons. I currently use buttonmapper and will be checking that too.

I too see the issue where the U1 'Cloud' database does not have the many discrete codes that devices will often support even if they are not assigned to a button on their own remote. My previous remotes have all been 'upgraded' using the JP-1 user group tools. So I could (I suppose) learn the HDMI 1; HDMI 2 etc on one of those and then use them to teach the U1 the IR code. However, unless they were directly assigned to a button, you could not add them to a macro :( There does not seem to be any way to add a 'learned' code to the list of functions supported by the device. Still some way to go. Maybe there is a way to do it, but none seems to be described here.

I see exactly the same problem. It appears to me as though the 'macro' function does not work with BT connected remote mode. Not clear from anything I could read before purchasing!
