It's been 8 months. Any plans to update? If not, what about open sourcing the software so the community can fix it?

I agree. The remote feels nice. The database is.. limited. I also did not realize that the X1 REQUIRES the hub. I thought it was an optional thing, but there is no transmitter on the remote itself. That seems like a miss.
