I only got my U2 yesterday but I’m actually impressed on what I could already do. My setup is fairly basic with a new LG OLED, 2 hdmi devices (cable box & Firecube) and a receiver with an optical connection to the tv. I agree that the documentation is a bit sparse but I’ve found the programmng to be pretty intuitive. All four devices were in the database. I’m still doing som mapping and remapping but here’s an example of what I’ve done: ON button on with a macro to turn all devices OFF button with a macro to turn everything off (needed because my receiver has separate on/off) VOLUME/MUTE buttons with a macro mapped to my receiver’s volume I put these functions on all 4 of my devices so I don’t need to roll to a new device for these common functions. I’ve done a few other things, checking the mapping of each device and making minor changes. I’m considering adding a 5th device called “Master” and map/macro all the basic functions of all of my devices in one place to minimize rolling between devices, but I’m not sure I’m going to need it. At this point I feel that is is the best $40 I’ve spent (Black Friday deal)!

I know this is a year old post but I thought I’d add my 2 cents for others searching (like I did)… I was also concerned about the display staying on but I found that it won’t go off while the App is running. I closed the App and waited about 3 minutes and all works fine.
