These are the two remotes I have: https://my.dish.com/support/products/remotes/54 https://my.dish.com/support/products/remotes/52 I also have two SofaBaton U1 remotes: 1 U1 can control Dish Hopper, but cannot learn new commands from the Dish remote. It can learn new commands from other (not Dish) remotes without issue. 1 U1 cannot control Dish Wireless Joey, and cannot learn new commands from the Dish remote. This one also can learn new commands from other (not Dish) remotes without issue.

I have tried all of those things. The U1 works with other devices but not Dish Wireless Joey.
