Since the X-Series signal is coming from the hub, it is recommended that you move the hub and the device closer together, with as little cover in between as possible. Also if it still doesn't work, you can use an IR blaster, point the terminal of the IR blaster to the IR receiver of your device and see if it works!

Dear, Alexa can only synchronize Activiities, can't control the device.Alexa can only turn Acticity on and off, can't control the volume of the device.
Make sure, a. App version is 3.4.1 if you are holding an IOS; and for Andriod one, it should be 3.3.6; b. Is your Hub version a V17? If not, upgrade its version to V17. c. If the above failed, be sure IP addresses of all lights are under the same subnet (not the same WIFI)---these could be virified at the settings of your main Router. d. Last but not least, just re-add lights of Hue one by one at our app ( donot delete the old one) and make a test then

a. Are all lights working properly by our remote but just several lights being presented on app, yes?
b. Are all lights of Hue added into oursystem at the same time or separately?
c. If all lights being added at the same time, please forcefully quit our app and log into it again and have a verification again.

d. If the above failed, power off all lights + our Hub(by unplugging its power cable and plug it in again)and take a look on our app again.

After checking, sorry to say that our techs are unable to find the codes in the IR database. As you mentioned, it could be connected by Bluetooth, it is recommended to add your device by Bluetooth code such as other, Android TV and so on. It would be better if you can try each code to find the most suitable.
