For problem 2, It is recommended to create a macro button under Activity, such as channel 247, then create a macro to execute the commands of the three keys of 2, 4, and 7. You can add it via key favorites or the new macro in Assign key for X1-Remote. Selecting key favorites which is only displayed on the screen. or select the assign key for X1-Remote and it will be assigned as a physical key (which can be controlled by one key on the remote )

Australia is far away from the US, it could be the server connection does not stable that causes the update failure,, Per the issue, if the update is unsuccessful, suggest change the time to update the firmware, such as if you updated the firmware at night before, pls kindly try to update the firmware during the daytime now, it should be updated successfully.
