Per remote can not update, do you mean the updating progress is 0%, or it shows that there is no update or still ? If it is 0%, you can try to unplug the hub, exit the app and reopen it, re-pair and then manually update, From our engineers testing, it could work after doing above steps several time, tks for your patience.

Per the long press function, pls confirm that your remote and huib are on the latets firmware. The remote needs to be manually updated. Use the app to operate: Me-X1 settings--Firmware update for X1 Remote. When upgrading, please put the hub and the remote control together to avoid too much distance. After updating, suggest create this device as an Activity, and then assign a long press function to the navigate_left/navigate_right, through edit--assign key for X1-Remote in app. Per xbox 360, pls try to add it via searching brand Microsoft Model：Xbox 360
