According to your information, you should want to use the Yamaha receiver as an HDMI extender when it is not powered on. Our recommendations are as follows:
Add Yameha receiver twice
1. Rename the first one to HDMI Switch (or something that is convenient for you to distinguish), and add it as a normal device. After adding, pls Edit----Power settings----The original remote does not have a power key. Then this devie will be used as an HDMI switcher.
2. The second time you add it, you can use the default name Yamaha AV , without modifying the power settings.
Finally, you can create different activities and choose different hamaha devices.
Choose Yamaha AV if you need to turn on the Yamaha, choose HDMI Switch if you only use the HDMI function
