For wifi control, X1 only supports sonos, philips hue and roku, per your device it could be controlled via the infrared. FYI, X1 remote can not emit the ir signal , all the signal was sent from the hub itself.

You can download an mdns search app, Android user can download "Service Browser", Apple user can download "Discovery-DNS-SD Browser"; If the phone and HUB are on the same LAN, open the app to search for a service "_x1hub._udp.", this is our HUB, tap it to see the IP address of the HUB (note that the MAC shown on the page is not the MAC of WIFI), you can confirm which is the HUB and check the MAC through the router management page;
