If it's still not working, please take a video(the video is about the original charger charging the hub, which responds; but the original charging cable charging the remote doesn't respond to anything) of that issue and send it to us. We will locate the issue and give you a proper solution. And you can also try to use another USB-A to USB-C to charge the remote and test if the remote is broken or the charging cable is faulty. Sorry about this, the X1S remote doesn't have long buttons in device mode. Only in Activity you can create long buttons. In Activity you can set long press and short press to control different buttons. But it is not possible to set a long press to continuously control a command in device mode.

Thanks for contacting us, switching WiFi does not lose settings, the X series information is stored in the hub and as long as you don't reset the hub you won't lose settings. You can switch to another Sofabaton remote by tapping Me - in the app. Then click setup new hub to reconnect the hub and select a new WiFi for the hub.
