    Dear Customer, thank you for contacting us. If you're stuck at this step, please verify that the WiFi password you entered is correct. Additionally, ensure your phone and hub are connected to the same 2.4G network. if you want to switch to a different WiFi network, press and hold the hub button for 3 seconds. Wait until the hub's indicator light turns blue, then reconnect to the new WiFi. To reset the hub, press and hold the hub button for 30 seconds until the indicator light flashes red. Please note that all settings will be erased after resetting the hub.

It doesn't matter if your computer is using a VPN. You can not use a VPN on your phone while you are programming it. Ensure your network supports 2.4GHz wifi, and you need to connect your phone to 2.4GHz wifi so you can connect the app to the hub.
