did you try HTR-XXX

try using just "5662" (top of list of arris devices). The channel down key works properly with this.

OK I have solved the problem. On the list of arris devices I chose just the 5662 (top of list) rather than VIP5662w. The channel down key works properly (doesn't skip channel). On my original setup for the VIP5662 I created a macro with one step and chose that step to be the channel down of the generic 5662. I didn't want to delete my original VIP5662 because I had a number of programmed keys and macros. All good now except for "last channel".

Sorry the STB is is Arris VIP5662W and not VIP5662
