Update on day 2 - I tried to use the remote this morning only to discover that the hub had lost connection with the remote. I had to unplug it and plug it back in then wait for it to reconnect. Not encouraging.

I've had my X1 for less than 24 hours. Remote locked up with a message showing "no key" - not good

Apparently not. I just bought an X1 that is about to be boxed up and sent back. There's no IR feature on the remote itself and you can't use a 2nd hub with your remote to trigger your TV.
