I just updated to the v14 and not seeing issues with the buttons, only issue is the hub led is blinking green.

Nevermind on the devices and 3 dots, I didn't realize the first click is for the physical buttons. It works fine.

in the last 2 days I have had the hub lose the bluetooth connection to the shield and the remote lose the connection to the hub. One thing I am going to try is to use a FLIRC IR USB receiver in the shield and stick on on of the IR blasters to it and see if that is more reliable. You can use brand Microsoft and model Windows Media Player to setup a device then map the media player remote in the FlIRC software to the nvida shield keyboard commands.

I just tried to add the JBL Bar 5.1 and it does download a code base but it's the wrong one, it has a ton of keys and the bar 5.1 has a simple remote.

So will this new remote work with the X1 hub? The only thing I really miss on the X1 is the motion activated backlight and maybe a few more hard keys. The no touch screen is nice because it's much less prone to accidental clicks, swipes etc.

It still disconnects but not as often as the 2017 shield.

I was able to get the key updated from the Harmony using the learning function, had to hold down the button on the harmony.

I just replaced my harmony Elite with the X1, any info on this new X1S model? Only major issue I have found is the hub will disconnect from my Nvidia Shield and I have to pull power from hub to get it to reconnect. Overall pretty pleased, even have the Alexa stuff working, so it's essentially working exactly like my harmony Elite did I also like the trac roller button, there are no more accidental touches which always messed up the harmony even with the screen lock. Get the Bluetooth working better and refine software more and it's going to be a winner.

So I moved it to my newer 2019 Shield and so far it's not disconnected. Maybe there is a hardware difference that Sofabaton needs to address between the 2017 and 2019 versions of the Shield??
