Why exactly do they need to keep rushing out updates? With the last update they introduced the last feature I wanted so my X1 is now working how I want it to. Constantly changing things just for the sake of it risks introducing bugs. API, which I don’t think I will personally use, is the only thing I can think of or am I missing something?

What Sofabaton did not say in their answer is you do not need to turn 5ghz off. I have both and most of my kit uses 5ghz, leave it on, just don’t connect to it when setting up the Sofabaton.

If its out of warranty get some Electrical Cleaner (its nonconductive so don't just use any old cleaner) quick squirt down the gap and all will be well again, works on my X1 so no reason it won't on the U2.

Have you tried in IR my search brings up 22 models 3 of which say FIOS.

I only have the X1 and its always left in Activities and stays there sometimes for weeks when on holiday so unless they have changed the way they work (I hope not) I would say you have a faulty one and as it’s the X1S you may still be in the return window, if so return it and get another.

This is quite common, if its still under warranty e-mail them with a video of the issue and they should replace it. If its out of warranty I would get some contact cleaner and squirt a bit down the top "Back" button, it could be getting stuck, you will probably need some contact cleaner anyway when the wheel starts playing up. If its in warranty I would contact them throw e-mail for a replacement.

Yep its in V16 which is out now on the X1.

The only time I have seen this is while charging and using it at the same time.

Do you mean the remote is switching to Devises by itself?
