Time to box it up ready to send it back. It's lack of ability to work / learn IR makes it virtually unusable and definitely not at the price. I have been using learning multi device remotes since the Pronto and this is by far the worse experience. It's not bad working just my Philips TV but the remote that came with the TV could do that.

A further update. As the Sony AMP profile / database did not work I thought I would just try and lean the whole thing from the remote. However, another failure, it learnt the HDMI Out (did not work) but would not the learn the Power button at all. Odd it will learn Philips remote codes but not those used by Sony.

An update: I can learn a IR code in the Philips TV device and that works in the app and on the X1 as one would expect so it must relate to the data for the Sony AV Amp. Another question, I see you can sort / drag items up and down the list of buttons e.g. Volume-Up, Volume-Dn but how do you delete the ones that don't work or are not needed?
