In the menu of the AVR you have to manually select ID 1, 2 or 3 and then on the remote you hold the mode button, and then either skip back for ID 1, play/pause for ID 2, or skip forward for ID 3. It changes the whole codebase of the remote to something else but the hub won't learn the commands from ID 2 or 3. The hub won't successfully learn much of anything actually. Thanks.

Thanks but I'm not sure you understand. The VSX-LX503 has three remote ID's. You can pick between them on the original remote to avoid controlling other Pioneer devices. Can you make the other ID's available? The Hub cannot learn them. Thanks.
