Adding a note to follow this. It would be good to be able to set an IP address for the hub manually via the app. Like many, I run "smart" devices on their own, segregated VLAN, and I have to swap to it to manage the X1 hub currently.
I have the same issue. I haven't tried using the app to wake it, I have just been resetting the power in the hub. I'll try the app next time and report back.
Just checking in on this and following it. I just purchased and received my X1, and I am having the same issue. It seems that restarting the X1 hub fixes it temporarily, but it happens multiple times a day.
