  • Keep losing connection until reboot or open app on phone 1 year ago

I used FLIRC previously with my old Harmony remote setup but found it picked up random IR signals and often started playing content since it was always powered on. I don't have any issues with the X! and my Shield as long as the hub is available. That is using the device listed with the NVidia logo in the hot bands images at the top. When I first set it up and used one found from a search it is was less reliable.

SfoaBaton can you confirm that you have been able to recreate this and are working on solution or are you still needing something from the community? This also happens to me e few times a week. I will go to start an activity from an everything off state and nothing will happen but as soon as I open the app the commands for the activity i had selected before opening the app are sent and everything returns to normal operation. On occasion I have also had the remote stop functioning while watching an activity and again as soon as I open the app the last button press I did when the remote froze is sent and everything starts working again.

  • SofaBaton X1 bluetooth issue with Nvidia Shield -- any ideas? 1 year ago

  • Need additional function in activities 1 year ago

Unfortunately, there is no editing of the power on commands in the start up setting you can only add a command not delete a command same with the shutdown setting. I have found a work around to have the TV device learn commands from the Yamaha remote and add them to the start up sequence. I now need to figure out why I have to keep repairing the Bluetooth on the Shield.
