@Zeoic What device and model did you use to set this up with Bluetooth? I would very, very, very much like to do the same thing.

@SofaBaton I tried the latest code set, and that works much better in the APP on the phone. The remote control itself, though (even after syncing) is still a problem. I'm not sure why there would be a difference, since the hub is the actual thing doing the controlling, but for whatever reason the remote control device itself is slow/sluggish/unresponsive but the APP is perfectly fine.

@SofaBaton I already had the latest firmware. I re-sync'd the remote. I unplugged and plugged in the hub. Definitely still not working. To be clear, my issue is NOT with long presses (although that does not work well either). My issue is with long derlays between button presses. UP, DOWN, UP = OK. UP, UP, UP only registers once.

@SofaBaton I don't see any difference between the original codeset and the new codeset. It seems to behave exactly the same. I reported a few problems at the same time in this post, so I have made a new post with just the major issue (ie: having to wait literally seconds between each press of the same navigation button in order for it to register).

@SofaBaton It seems exactly the same so far. Does it take time for the database changes to take effect?

@Richard46 I think I would be OK with that. It isn't ideal, but it would get the job done. I'm not sure how to assign something to long press vs. short press, though unless I am using an activity. I can't seem to do it just when editing the device, which seems odd to me but ultimately I'll b using an activity anyway I suppose so its probably not a problem.

I believe that I understand what causes this -- if your phone isn't on WIFI (at least on Android), the SofaBaton APP will just hang forever at the banner page as I described. I would strongly recommend that the APP should check if the phone is connected to WIFI and immediately show a message of some kind if it isn't. Otherwise, you are going to have quite a few confused users.

@SofaBaton Any update on this? Would it be better if I submitted my question through e-mail instead of through this forum? Not being able to control my STB, or teach the SofaBaton how to do it using the original remote, is kind of a deal-breaker for me. Every other device is fine, so I'm hopeful.

@SofaBaton These are the same instructions from the manual, which I did follow. What I am trying to understand is whether I need to press the original button on the remote just once, many times with a delay between, or hold it down?
