  • 【Tutorial】 X1 New Upgrade SOON! 1 year ago

Either iPhone or Android will work fine. Search for “Sofabaton” in the Google Play Store.

  • Play/Pause on one button vs. two separate buttons. 1 year ago

I ran into the same issue and considered adding a second button but stumbled across a solution. Assign your PLAY/PAUSE button on the remote to the PAUSE function and it will correctly alternate between the two, similar to a Fire TV or Apple remote.

  • The “FIX” function doesn’t seem to work on X1 remote 1 year ago

I should add that when it’s fixed and working properly, you would use that option to “re-teach” the remote/hub the correct status of a given device. Eg. Someone inadvertently turns off the tv manually or with a different remote, this would screw up any activities that used the tv because the remote knows it didn’t turn off the tv. “Fix” basically puts the state of a device back to what it should be for any given activity.

I don’t think the feature is working. I’ve done some playing around with it and notice that it correctly reports the power status of a particular device by showing the green bar. At that point, your only option is to press the wheel ball as a toggle to switch device on/off. The bar changes status but the device is unaffected. Easy to use but NOT working.

  • How to factory reset the X1 board? 1 year ago

Unplug your router, wait about 20 seconds, plug it back in, and then wait about 2 minutes. Hold down the button on the hub for 3-5 seconds until the light flashes blue and then try your setup again. Make sure that both the hub AND your phone are on the same 2.4 network. Do not use a 5ghz network.

RF = Radio Frequency (another form of remote control communication).

Neither the remote nor the hub use RF. The hub sends out all the controlling signals via IR, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

  • IR signal to blasters too weak? 1 year ago

Jgranto, I don’t believe your hub is defective; your presumption about the blasters is correct. For the last few days I’ve been struggling with getting everything to work and I just assumed it was code issues but then I disconnected the blasters and started moving the hub around. It now sits not adjacent to but off to the side of the entertainment shelves and slightly in front of my equipment. All,of the devices are working fine. I then did like you and covered up the hub and plugged in the blasters and only one of my devices was receiving a signal. The blasters just don’t put out as strong a signal as the hub does.
