    Sorry not activites but the device. When I edit a device I am then presented with 4 options. The 3rd one is "Power Settings" where I can tell it to leave any device "Always on"

    Under the activity, shutdown settings, don't you just tell it to not power on or off the Yamaha?

    You could create an activity that just power toggles the TCL if there is not a unique command for power on/ off. These commands should be listed as commands for the device if they are available. rather than just "Power" it will say "power on" or "power off"

    I should add that you do the same to add macro keys. The macros are assigned to the activity. When you select an activity on the remote pressing it again displays the list of macros that can be selected via the roller ball.

    I think you have to assign the the long press key in the activity the same as you did for the device. ie edit the activity then assign the keys. They don't carry over from the device.

    OK this is weird. I was out all afternoon and I come back and the remote is working. Didn't do anything before my wife picked it up and started using it. I had sent along the video. I wasn't sure how to send the video though. The app function to send to after sales support allows an attachment but on ly opens to the images area of the phone, not videos. I uploaded to my g drive and included the link.
