Can we please get an update on this? Why do I have to open the app to wake up the hub

I have the same problem, opening the app wakes it up

I also have the same problem, shield is not paired with any third party remote.

With mine it also regularly loses connection, however I go to the shield settings and unpair it and then repair it again using shield settings and the sofabaton app. Also annoying but seems less annoying than unplugging it and plugging it in again

Disregard my last post, lost connection again today :(

I think I have found the solution to this. On the shield tv, go to Settings>apps>security and restrictions>turn off Bluetooth LE privacy
