Thanks both for the comments. I'm wondering if there's going to be a way of controlling equipment in the viewing room and in a separate media closet. My screen and soundbar are in one room, and the plaback devices in another. My current Harmony hub does IR and Bluetooth in the media closet. The hub also has 2 x 2.5mm jacks on the rear for IR senders located in my viewing room.
