Hi Dave. thanks. Ziggo it is. I promise to read your posts to the end next time... cheers
FWIR the 360 Virgin Remote is Bluetooth to the Box, yes its IR to control the TV but not the box. The Sofabaton uses IR to control the Virgin box so the box does not need to be made discoverable and the X1s wont learn from the Virgin Remote as its Bluetooth (except TV control which you don't need). As I mentioned more than one company makes the 360 for Virgin so the IR codes will vary and you may need to try a few different code sets from the Sofabaton data base.
The virgin remote has IR 100% but it may also use some other kind of connection like bluetooth but the box doesn't seem to be able to be made discoverable. The Hub seems unable to learn anything from the remote properly. The only signal it even reacts to is the on signal (not even the off signal even though it's the same button) even then after it claims it is successful it still doesn't work. Hard to get my head around it. I have tried adding the commands from one at a time but the 0 button still doesn't work.
