+1 for this feature. There's no reason they should be specific to an activity, but rather the devices involved.
Install Home Assistant and integrate that into your Sofabaton device. You don't need them to add support for the new Hue Hub, and it's probably not a simple integration.
Shouldn't it just repeat the IR command after a short pause unless the user has assigned an alternative hold command to that button?
What's the status on this? This is kind of a major bug, and it is obviously going to affect most of your customers/users.
Dear Customer, We apologize to say that our technical team has verified that the volume buttons on this code library do not support long-press functionality. If you have the original remote control, we recommend using the infrared learning feature to program the buttons from the original remote.
Many of the Denon code bases have the same issue with Volume but as all Denon codes are the same just pick another model (don’t go much lower though as some of the higher end features may be missing). And just in case you have, do NOT add the Volume command in the long press option, leave it clear. The other option to try is learn it from the original.
