Thank you for contacting us. Yes, both X1S and X2 have a backup feature, you can backup your X1S settings and then import them into X2.
Sorry to say model of this device is unable to be added into our code library. Kindly add it by the similar one below at our app. Brand:Philips Model:65OLED903
Has anybody been able to get this to work with Bluetooth? I have an X1S and Bell rebranded ARRIS VIP5662W with one of the "slim" Bluetooth remotes. I bought the sofabaton specifically as it would allow me to use one remote to control my LG OLED TV, NVIDIA Shield, and Bell set top box. Everything seems fine with the TV and the shield but I can't get the sofabaton to work with my bell box
Still no working Guide and Channel down. I did however, find a reasonable workaround: For the Guide button; create a macro that does the following: Home - Delay 0,5 - Arrow Up - Delay 0,5 - Arrow Right - Arrow Right - Delay 0,5 - OK. For the Channel down: I've enabled HDMI CEC on both the TV and the KPN box. With the TV remote, I can control the channel down. So I added the channel down from the TV to the channel down button for the 'Watch TV' activity. It works pretty well.
once the X2 launches, will we be able to migrate from an existing X1S setup to the X2 by importing a backup or will we need to start from scratch? I have so many custom learned IR codes and complex IP HTTP commands that require a lot of cut/paste and typing to get all the commands and Auth strings right that I hope I can transfer over. thankfully all of my power and input sequencing is handled externally so I don't need to build all of that again, I just need to send the right IP command.
You can get around this by setting up an external MQTT server that takes HTTP GET commands from the remote (which can be mapped to any button, macro, activity power trigger etc) that way you can control anything you want with any button on the remote and mix that in with local IR and bluetooth controls. I use my HAOS rapberry pi which runs MQTT and NodeRed, NR receives and parses all the commands from the remote and handles all device power and input sequencing, that talks to HA for Zigbee device control and also communicates with MQTT to get commands off to ESP32 based devices listening for MQTT.
