Dear Customer, We apologize to say that our technical team has verified that the volume buttons on this code library do not support long-press functionality. If you have the original remote control, we recommend using the infrared learning feature to program the buttons from the original remote.
Many of the Denon code bases have the same issue with Volume but as all Denon codes are the same just pick another model (don’t go much lower though as some of the higher end features may be missing). And just in case you have, do NOT add the Volume command in the long press option, leave it clear. The other option to try is learn it from the original.
What if holding the pin in doesn't resolve the looping reset? I've tried holding the button/pin a few different times now, carefully timing 10 sec (and 12 sec a few times just in case), and I spaced my attempts apart by a couple minutes just to be sure. The only change was that the dark screen between logo times, stays dark longer around sec 7-11, but then the reset loop returns even if holding the button.
Hi crypticc, thanks for your reply. Do I have a chance to send you a PDF where I try to explain the bug in detail? Maybe you can help to solve the issue…
