As an update, I added new commands by recoridng the remotes volume up/down. Now hold to go up and down works but its insanely unreliable. Its very slow going down by one tick every half second, but then randomly will skip ahead by like 5 ticks at once randomly and inconsistenly. So closer to a solution but still not working well at all.
In device mode it does the same thing as in activity mode, long press only does effectively a single volume down instead of continuing to go down as long as I hold it. The AVR is a Denon AVR-S570BT
Thanks for contacting us. Does your AVR allow long button presses on the volume buttons in device mode? May we know the brand and model of your AVR? Let's feed it back to our engineers to check?
(Apologies if this is a repeated reply.) Why does the app fail on my Android phone running Android 13? I tried on two different platforms but you only responded to one of my questions. I have no interest in purchasing a GPS receiver for the Amazon tablet. But my phone has GPS. Please review my original message and respond to the problem I reported there regarding the app not working on my phone.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We found that the Amazon tablet part doesn't support GPS function, so you can't use the APP, you can refer to the method in the link to solve the problem. https://www.quora.com/AmaZon-Kindle-fire-tablet-doesn-t-have-GPS-built-in-If-I-want-to-use-it-for-vehicle-navigation-and-use-my- phone-to-provide-hotspot-for-it-what-do-I-need-to-make-it-work
A reddit user u/InaudibleDirge found the solution, instead of using "other Bluetooth devices you should set it to " NexiGo Aurora Pro", the ok button works and the other buttons are unaffected (some tinkering needed)
