Does this happen when used in Devises Mode and Activities or just Activities? If just Activities have you set Long Press in Assign Commands for Remote Keys in the app for the navigation buttons?
Hi I have a similar issue. My U2 that I bought just over a month ago on Amazon worked fine until last week when the display screen stopped working. The remote works and the app is correct but the remote doesn’t display what remote you are “on”. Very frustrating
The Rosewill remote says RRC-126 and in another place RR6.
I use to stream from a computer with NextPVR. I use either a Rosewill remote or a Logitech remote. It opens everything fine including the computer app, but when I use the Sofabaton to go up and down in the menu it will move once and then if you hit the same up or down key it does not move until I hit a different key. Tried setting a new device using either the Rosewill or Logitech remote to learn the up and down keys had the same problem. Tried repairing the original device up by using the old remotes and now goes up one sits a second and then jumps about 3 and then nothing.
Thank you for contacting us. Sorry, the commands in the Bluetooth code library are fixed , and cannot be added at this time. We suggest you to add them by infrared. There are more buttons in the IR code base.
I have several U1's and U2's and honestly think when connected as a Bluetooth remote, they are fantastic, easy to setup and scale the most complex home media centers down to one remote. But I know exactly the frustration the OP has with the U2 scroll wheel. It's become a real problem over the last 6 months for me on 2 of the 3 U2’s I have, to the point of wanting to throw it across the room. But @Distox has nailed the fix, open it up (which is easy, non-destructive and only takes a few minutes), then spray the wheel sensor with electrostatic contact cleaner a few times while rolling the wheel back and forth and it solves the issue. Hopefully this is a permanent fix but if I have to do it once a year no biggie.
