if you are running HA you can fire up an instance of NodeRed and use that as a translation layer for any incompatible IP commands. I use Nodered in HAOS + HACS Nodered Companion I was able to do that to get all IP commands working with simple HTTP GET commands with no body and just a simple Authorisation header with my nodered user:pass in base64. There was another guy on reddit that said he got direct Json working without it getting garbled by the app, but putting generic HTTP commands in the sofabaton app then handling all the complex stuff in nodered is much, much easier and for powerful.
Did you figure out how to turn the virgin media box on and off with the sofa baton?

Thank you for contacting us. Yes, both X1S and X2 have a backup feature, you can backup your X1S settings and then import them into X2.

Has anybody been able to get this to work with Bluetooth? I have an X1S and Bell rebranded ARRIS VIP5662W with one of the "slim" Bluetooth remotes. I bought the sofabaton specifically as it would allow me to use one remote to control my LG OLED TV, NVIDIA Shield, and Bell set top box. Everything seems fine with the TV and the shield but I can't get the sofabaton to work with my bell box
