Don't know which genius decided to only allow existing buttons to be included in a macro. Why not just let you choose an action on a device directly instead of having it linked to a button. This really reduces the usability of the macro.
Also if you include a button in a macro and you update the action of that button afterwards , the macro will still use the old action.
This makes no sense because you have to select a macro step with a button but it stores the action behind it and not the button.
This improvement would greatly improve the usage.
I'm coming from a logitech device and up to now very pleased besides this topic and possibility to either copy config to new device or have an online/offline backup of your config. With the approach you guys took, I don't even need activities to handle my needs.
Being a developer myself, I think it's not that difficult to include these improvements. You would have a killer alternative for all those logitech users.
