I have configured the following devices with my X1:
Lg TV
Vizio Soundbar
Directv
SageTv
I configured the following Activies:
Directtv - Start the startup settings to the set LG Tv to hdmi1
Sage - Start the startup settings to set LG Tv to hdmi3
All devices are off and I removed the app from memory(ios) and started it again. Now when I go to Activities and touch Sage the tv turns on but it doesn’t select the hdmi3 input on the LG tv. I added a Startup settings delay off increasings values before setting the LG: input hdmi3. I stopped when I reached 5 seconds. I can press the off button, wait a few seconds and try the Sage activity again and it never does select the LG input hdmi3. I have to use the Repair option each time to select LG input hdmi3.
I also found when removing the app from memory and starting again the Directtv Activity is also not setting the LG input this time to hdmi. I use the repair option to set the LG input to hdmi1. With the Directtv activity active when i select the Sage activity it now changes the LG input! Now with the Sage activity active I can select the Directv input and it also set the LG input correctly to hdmi1. This appears to demonstrate a bug in startup activities not being executed the first time an activity has been used.
Next I tried using the X1 and not using the ios App and it does the same thing and doesn’t select the correct LG TV input when it is the first activity. Just like the app and can change the activity and it now works.
In the app I went to the Me tab/x1 settings and selected “Firmware update for X1 Remote” but it says “No Update. I went to the iOS app store to check for a SofaBaton but didn’t find any. I have version 3.2.5(running on 16.0.3).
