I have the X1 and am using it in my home theatre setup. I have a Pioneer VSX-LX503 and a Pioneer VSX-520 that I use at the same time to power a Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 configuration.
The VSX-LX503 is found in your code base (but is not 100% accurate) as is the VSX-520 however they both control each others functions. So volume up for example on the 503, also turns up the volume on the 520 which I want to be static.
On the original 503 remote there is an option to choose from 3 different remote ID's (1, 2, and 3) so that it does not also control other equipment by mistake. Are you able to allow the option to change between ID's for this model?
I have tried remote learning but it doesn't work. Even if a button press is learned it never triggers after it is saved. I have also tried all of the different versions of the 503 in your code base by trying all the different power button versions. The ones that work all also power on the 520.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
