X1 Hub won't connect

I'm using an iPhone and my X1 hub is showing a green light although I did nothing to add the hub to the wifi.   The Sofabaton iphone app can't find the hub or connect to the hub.I have rebooted the router and hub, as well as updated and rebooted my iphone.  I need a quick solution to this problem as my patience is waning after three days of trying.  Now I have nothing more than a couple of useless devices; and will be returning if I don't get satifaction soon.
