Cannot add Roku Streaming Stick+ Model 3810X to X1

I am having trouble adding a Roku Streaming Stick+ Model 3810X as a device to the Sofabaton X1.  Using the Wi-Fi approach, the X1 hub scans and discovers the Roku Stick, I then select the discovered device, and can see the device name and icon.  As soon as I press the “submit” button the app immediately crashes and closes.  When I relaunch the app the device has not been added.  Help, please.
