LG CX 77 OLED TV was working fine but stopped working

My frustrating experience with the X1 continues. My LG CX 77 tv ( LG OLED77CXPUA ) worked fine with the X1 until a week to 10 days ago. Now, it will not control the tv at all. Power on/off doesn't work. Nothing works. I've removed the device and re-added it. It still doesn't work. I've tried other LG codes (about 20 out of 181) and no luck. All I need it to do is turn on and off my TV. Any ideas or advice?
