Anyone had any luck setting up the X1 with newer Xfinity STBs? I've tried the Xfinity Icon during the setup (foolishly thinking it might actually be that easy) and I've tried using the exact model of STB (XG1v4 ) and literally not one action works. You can use the Xfinity remote learn volume +/- since the remote will do IR to control TV's and AVR's but nearly every other function the performs is done through RF. I did read where you can "unpair" the Xfinity remote and force it back to IR mode but before I go down that rabbit hole for the next 4 hours I was hoping someone had set this up already.
Short version? Has anyone sucessfully setup a newer Xfinity STB and if so, how? Thx.
