Activity problem power state

I have a anthem AVM60 the X1 added the device and it works well in several of my activities but when using with either my OPPO Blu-ray or my Sony TV's smartTV activities when I switch to the activity it turns the Anthem off. Doing a repair of the activity and turning the Anthem on works fine but then the next time I switch to activity it shuts off again. I can fix it by a adding a command to the start up activity for both activities that are failing but it turns my receiver off and on every time I use the selected activities and I would like to save the wear & tear on my receiver! I've checked the power state for the Anthem and it's set to turn off when not in use.
