X1 will not update.

I have a brand new X1 and after going through the setup and adding devices it asks to update firmware. the update never moves from 0% complete. Closing the app and reopening results in no hub found and having to reconnect as though new. Have tried re-setting up and choosing NOT to update but again, if I close the app on my phone and open it again it cannot fimd the hub and wants to set up as new. Phone and Hub are on same 2.4 wireless network
